London Contemporary Opera was established by Artistic Directors Nicholas Broadhurst and Andrew Watts to present the highest quality productions of late 20th century and present day opera and music theatre.

LCO produces original, confident and challenging new work through the creative input of composer, librettist, director and performer.

LCO seeks to expand the performed repertoire of contemporary work, and to share with audiences the exhilaration and inspiration that the best new work can generate.
